Event Details

HOME PLATE is an annual outreach event held at Comerica Park at which current and former members of the Detroit Tigers, along with other professional athletes, share about their careers as professional athletes and their faith in Jesus Christ. Join Tiger pitchers, Will Vest, Tyler Holton, and Mason Englert, outfielder Kerry Carpenter, White Sox 1st baseman/right fielder Gavin Sheets, retired Tiger, Frank Tanana, and Christian recording artist, Matt Hammitt, for a program that will include these athletes speaking about their careers in professional sports and faith in Jesus Christ. To order your tickets and/or to get more information about the day, please head directly to Home Plate Detroit. Additional speakers from the Tigers, White Sox, and other sports may be added. Schedule changes and other circumstances related to the nature of their profession could prevent one or more speakers from participation.
